AthensBiomechanics – Nicole Kaseri

FAQ

Human Biomechanics studies how the body moves, walks, and manages the forces it encounters in everyday life.

The way the body moves through space is known as a movement pattern. By analyzing these patterns, we can better understand the factors contributing to pain and difficulty with movement.

Through posture and gait analysis, we can identify factors that may trigger pain, address asymmetries, and improve overall function.

The assessment is designed for people experiencing:

  • Chronic lower back pain
  • Neck pain
  • Sciatica
  • Knee pain
  • Hip pain
  • Scoliosis or kyphosis
  • Balance and gait difficulties
  • Movement limitations following an injury or surgery
  • Neurological conditions such as Parkinson’s disease
  • Athletes
  • Women in perimenopause

The initial session includes:

  • Medical history review
  • Posture analysis
  • Gait analysis
  • Spinal decompression and relaxation of tight muscles
  • Initial personalized recommendations

The assessment takes approximately 90 minutes and is the first and most important step before beginning any intervention program.

Not necessarily.

If you have any available imaging or medical test results (MRI, CT scans, X-rays, etc.), it is helpful to bring them with you.

There is no single answer that applies to everyone.

The number of sessions depends on:

  • Your medical history
  • How long the problem has been present
  • The severity of your symptoms
  • Your consistency in following the program

Your personalized plan is determined after the assessment.

Yes.

Many people who come to us have been experiencing symptoms for years and have already tried different approaches without achieving the desired results.

Our goal is to identify underlying movement dysfunctions that may be contributing to the problem.

The program is fully adapted to each individual’s needs and abilities, regardless of age.

Yes.

In addition to pain management, the human biomechanics-based approach is used to improve athletic performance, movement efficiency, and injury prevention.

Both in-person and online sessions are available for clients in Greece and abroad.

You can fill out the contact form or contact us by phone to schedule your initial assessment.

The rates of pain reduction from the very first session are very high.

The assessment and approach used are based on an individualized analysis of the body’s movement and function, with the aim of reducing pain, improving movement, and achieving visible changes in posture and movement patterns.
